Windows 7 Is this encryption note real or malware ?

This appeared this morning. I don't remember encrypting any files or getting a key to do so. If they exist, how do I find them? Thanks

Solution
EFS allows each user to encrypt their user directory, so in that sense it's real functionality built into Windows.

If you don't need it enabled open file explorer and navigate to C:\Users, right click on your user directory and click properties.
In the general tab click Advanced and uncheck 'Encrypt contents to secure data'

If you want to keep it enabled you will want to back up the cert and key to a safe location as it's the only way you can decrypt your data in the event of a system failure.
