Latest Windows 10 Build 19045.2908: New Features and Fixes for Users

  • Thread Author
Microsoft has released Windows 10 Build 19045.2908 to the Release Preview Channel for Windows Insiders running version 22H2. This update, labeled KB5025297, introduces significant improvements and bug fixes aimed at enhancing user experience and system functionality.
### Key Updates and Improvements
#### Syncing Language and Region Settings
One of the notable features in this update is the ability to sync language and region settings. When users change their Microsoft account display language or regional format, Windows will now save these settings to their accounts, provided Language preferences sync is enabled in Windows backup settings.
#### Firewall Enhancements
The update introduces changes to firewall settings, allowing users to configure application group rules. This offers more control over security configurations and boosts system protection.
#### Taskbar Search Box
The search box experience returns to the Windows 10 taskbar, making it easier to access apps, files, settings, and more. This is available for all taskbar configurations, whether top, bottom, regular, or small icons. Users can revert to the original search experience via the context menu or a dialog box prompt. However, this feature will roll out in a future update rather than this release.
#### Daylight Saving Adjustments for Iran
The update supports the Iranian government's changes to daylight saving time, ensuring accurate timekeeping for users in this region.
