Windows 7 Lexmar printer problems

after installing Windows 7 my Lexmark all in one X8350 printer stopped working.

I contacted Lexmark help and was told to buy a new printer. Surely that can't be correct. Help!

I think the best you'll get at the moment are vista drivers but they should be fine:

If for some reason they don't work, try re-installing using the compatibility tab..

I downloaded as directed. The printer dialog box came up like it was going to print. Then I got an error message:" enable bidirectional printer properties"

I went into the printer properties and saw nothing with bidirectional printer properties.

If you scroll down to the problem section (see screenshot) it gives instructions on what to do.. It was originally intended for xp but i'm hoping this will still be a solution for you..
