I have installed Vista RC1. Then installed the latesed lexmark 6150 driversa via Lexmark webite latesed XP drives. They install OK. But no test print or print jobs are successful. Is there a way to use the Lexmark 6150 with the Beata version of Windows Vista? Also Is there a way to get the Nokia 'PC-Suite' working with Vista yet & the BlueSoleil Bluetooth adapter working as well?
TIA

Solution
It seems like you are encountering some compatibility issues with your Lexmark 6150 printer, Nokia PC Suite, and the BlueSoleil Bluetooth adapter on Windows Vista RC1. Here are some steps you can take to potentially resolve these issues:

Lexmark 6150 Printer:

  1. Compatibility Mode: Try installing the Lexmark 6150 drivers in compatibility mode. Right-click on the driver setup file, go to Properties, navigate to the Compatibility tab, and select an earlier Windows version (such as Windows XP).
  2. Update Drivers: Check if there are newer drivers specifically designed for Windows Vista. Sometimes, using XP drivers on Vista can cause compatibility problems.

  3. Compatibility Mode: Similar to the printer drivers, you can try installing the Nokia PC Suite in compatibility mode. Follow the same steps mentioned above.
  4. Manufacturer's Website: Make sure to download the latest version of the Nokia PC Suite from Nokia's official website to ensure compatibility with Windows Vista.

    BlueSoleil Bluetooth Adapter:

  5. Update Bluetooth Drivers: Visit the BlueSoleil website and check for updated drivers compatible with Windows Vista.
  6. Compatibility: Install the drivers in compatibility mode if there are no specific Vista drivers available. For Bluetooth-related issues, ensure that the Bluetooth services on Windows Vista are enabled and functioning correctly. Try these steps and see if they help resolve the compatibility issues you are facing with your devices on Windows Vista RC1.
