Windows 7 Limit which applications user can see

Hello,

How can I limit which applications user on win 7 could see?
I have attached the screenshot as I would like user to see when he/she presses the start button. The screenshot I have attached is from win xp. Honestly I don't know how is this being done even on win xp.

Does anyone have clue on this?

You can create different user accounts, Create a user account

It takes a bit of study and work, but it's almost limitless.


In this article there is no such information how to limit the view of the applications shown on start menu..
I don't think you have understood right.

I would like to set windows start menu just to show 3-4 applications that I want user to see. So basically user can't access mt computer and see all the folder, he can just use those 3-4 applications and that's it.

In the article supplied there are just basic information regarding different users on win 7.
