So, I've got a few issues and questions here regarding mapping a drive for use on other computers within a home network.
I want to map my Windows 8 computer's media drive (which doesn't have the OS, but has everything else - media content) to another computer (a Windows 7 laptop).

- Is there a way to allow the Windows 7 laptop to save, open and create in the drive? I created a network path for the drive in Windows 8, and then mapped the drive through the Windows 7 laptop. However, I couldn't open any folders, save any files or open any files. I went through the sharing settings on the drive in Windows 8 and couldn't figure anything out at all.
- Is there a way to only allow the Windows 7 laptop to access the drive?
