Solution
Having low FPS (frames per second) in games can be frustrating, especially when you've tried different resolutions with no improvement. The system specifications you provided are from your PC:
  • Motherboard: ASUS P5KC
  • RAM: 4GB
  • Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6750
  • Storage: 500GB HDD
  • Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit
Given the hardware specifications you provided, it's understandable that you might face performance issues, especially when trying to run newer games. Here are a few suggestions to improve gaming performance:
  1. Upgrade Your System:

Given the hardware specifications you provided, it's understandable that you might face performance issues, especially when trying to run newer games. Here are a few suggestions to improve gaming performance:
  1. Upgrade Your System:
    • Processor: The Core 2 Duo E6750 is quite old and may struggle with modern games. Upgrading to a newer processor will significantly boost performance.
    • RAM: 4GB of RAM is minimal for many newer games. Consider upgrading to at least 8GB or ideally 16GB for smoother gaming.
    • Graphics Card: You didn't mention your graphics card, but having a dedicated GPU is crucial for gaming performance. An upgrade here could make a big difference.
    []Optimize Game Settings:
    • Graphics Settings: Lowering the in-game graphics settings can help increase FPS. Try setting everything to the lowest settings and gradually increase them until you find a balance between performance and visuals.
    • Resolution: Stick to a lower resolution, as higher resolutions require more graphical power to render.
    [
    ]Update Drivers:
    • Make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date. This can sometimes give a significant performance boost.
    []Check for Background Processes:
    • Close any unnecessary background processes and applications that might be using system resources.
    [
    ]Monitor System Temperature:
    • Ensure that your system is not overheating, as high temperatures can lead to throttling and decreased performance.
  2. Consider Windows 10:
    • Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft, which can lead to security vulnerabilities. Upgrading to Windows 10 can also potentially improve gaming performance due to better optimization. Given your current system specifications, upgrading the CPU, GPU, and RAM would likely provide the most noticeable improvement in gaming performance.
