Solution
It seems like you are experiencing compatibility issues with a PCI card featuring an LPT port on Windows 7 64-bit. The drivers you currently possess are only designed for 32-bit XP and Vista, which explains the difficulty you're facing in getting it to function correctly. To resolve this issue, you can try the following solutions: 1. Compatibility Mode: You can attempt to install the drivers in compatibility mode. Here's how: - Right-click on the driver installation file. - Select "Properties" and navigate to the "Compatibility" tab. - Check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select an earlier version of Windows, like Windows Vista or XP. - Click "Apply" and then try running the installer again. 2...

Manufacturer's Website: Visit the website of the manufacturer of the PCI card and check if they have updated drivers compatible with Windows 7 64-bit. Download and install these drivers if available. 3. Windows Update: Sometimes, Windows Update can automatically find drivers for certain hardware components. Make sure your Windows 7 is up to date and check for driver updates through Windows Update. 4. Third-Party Drivers: Look for third-party drivers that are compatible with Windows 7 64-bit for your PCI card. Be cautious when downloading drivers from third-party websites and ensure they are reputable sources. 5. Alternative Solutions: If the above methods do not work, you may need to consider using alternative solutions such as a USB to LPT adapter or a virtual machine with a compatible operating system. By trying these steps, you may be able to get your PCI card with the LPT port working on your Windows 7 64-bit system. If you encounter any issues or need further assistance, feel free to ask for help!
