I am running Windows 7 on a MacBook Pro virtual machine. On a PC I can open Windows Explorer and select certain files within a folder with Ctrl-Click. Does anyone know the equivalent keyboard shortcut on a MacBook Pro?

Thank you,

Jonart

Thanks Kemical that list was some help. However it did not address the specific question. Let me restate it:

Windows 7 on virtual MacBook Pro
Open Windows Explorer
Navigate to and open a folder.
*Select non-contiguous items (to copy or move for instance).

*What is the keyboard shortcut for this (or even the long way)?

Cmd-Click does not work.

Thanks for your help.

I found the following shortcut in the 128 useful Shortcuts list. It works! Thanks Bassfisher.

"Select multiple non-adjacent items. Hold ctrl, use arrow keys to move to next item, and press space to add/remove from selection"

Glad I could be of some help....happy keyboard short cutting.
