win7 professional. trying to make some network files available offline but the option to make files or folders available offline from the right click menu does not exist. sync center suggests it should be there but its not.
i'm not on a domain, just a workgroup.. anywhere i need to turn this option on at ?

Solution
alistair:
Hello and welcome to the forums
Open control panel
Top right corner View by: "Change to small icons"
Open "Sync Center"
Left Column Click "Manage offline files"
In Offline Files dialog box under general tab
Click enable offline files
click OK
reboot
Do this on Client and Server (resource host)
Different operating systems may use different steps, like in XP in was under the Off Line tab under tools->folder options I think.
Worked for me, see if it helps
I have the same problem. I see no-one has answered your post here. Did you find a solution elsewhere?

Cheers

Andy
