Hi Guys. New at this and could really use a hand with the following problem: I have a HP EX490 MediaSmart Server (bundled w/ McAfee Anti-virus) linking two Win7 machines (Ultimate, 64bit). I get server errors: "Your Server is not protected" / "Virus DAT files are out of date". When I try to update I get "Invalid Entitlement". I installed a trial version of McAfee "Security-as-a-Service" and get this msg: "Your PC is Secure". How do I get the McAfee anti-virus on to the server? Any help w/ this would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Access McAfee Account: Make sure you have a valid McAfee account and the necessary entitlements to install the software on a server. You may need to check your account status and permissions. 3. Update Virus DAT Files: If you're able to access the McAfee console on the server, try manually updating the virus DAT files. This should help resolve the "Virus DAT files are out of date" error. 4. Correct Entitlement Issue: The "Invalid Entitlement" message indicates an issue with your licensing or permissions. Ensure that your McAfee account has the appropriate entitlements for server installations. Contact McAfee support if needed to resolve this issue. 5. Reinstall McAfee: If the trial version of McAfee "Security-as-a-Service" is working fine on your PC, consider uninstalling the trial version and then reinstalling the appropriate McAfee Anti-virus software meant for servers. This may help in resolving any installation issues. 6. Contact McAfee Support: If you continue to encounter difficulties, it would be beneficial to reach out to McAfee's customer support for direct assistance. They may provide additional guidance and troubleshooting steps tailored to your specific situation. By following these steps, you should be able to address the server errors and successfully install McAfee Anti-virus on your HP EX490 MediaSmart Server.
