I have a PCI-X Hauppauge 1800 MCE which works awesome in Vista 64. I run Windows Beta 7 build 7000 with the same hardware and it works... but there's pretty significant distortion and interference lines on the image in Beta 7 media center. I figure its a driver problem or something that has yet to be handled, but I figured I'd ask if anyone knows of any issues.

I know in Vista 64 I just got a new driver thru windows update, maybe one was released in Beta 7 but I haven't booted into it yet to check.

Any ideas?

This could indeed be caused by driver compatibility issues. Here are a few steps you can take to address this problem: 1. It's a good idea to check if there are updated drivers available for your TV tuner card that are compatible with Windows 7 Beta build 7000. Right-click on the driver installer, go to Properties, then Compatibility tab, and select an earlier version of Windows (like Vista) to run the driver installation. 3. Manual Driver Installation: - If the automatic driver update doesn't work, you can manually download the driver for the Hauppauge 1800 MCE TV tuner card from the manufacturer's website and install it in Windows 7 Beta. 4. Beta Software Limitations: - Keep in mind that Windows 7 Beta build 7000 is a pre-release version, so there may be limitations or compatibility issues with certain hardware devices. Updates and fixes are typically released in subsequent beta builds or the final release. 5. Community Forums: - You can check online forums or communities related to Windows 7 Beta to see if other users have experienced similar issues with your TV tuner card. You may find workarounds or solutions shared by others facing the same problem. Before proceeding with any changes, ensure you have a backup of your system or important data. Updating drivers and making compatibility changes can help resolve the distortion and interference issues you are experiencing with your TV tuner card in Windows 7 Beta.
