Windows 7 Microphone Not working

My Microphone doesnt seem to work at all. Tried it in Ventrilo but no joy. Cant seem to find a microphone setting anywhere in the control pannel.

Go to Control Panel,then click on Sound.Choose Recording from submenu,there you can see your mic,just click properties and browse around. Also try your mic somewhere else,like Mumble,Skype or somewhere else.

Solved it. Need to put your motherboard drivers on or download the latest Realtek drivers i believe

Windows 7 installation has replaced your original system board sound driver, so the only thing you need to do is to re-download your boards sound driver and wallah. Using Intel's boardID program if you have a Intel board you can find this information if you don't already know it. Then simply search google for the correct driver...I hope this helps
