If you were selling a product that was sending your core user base to the competition, wouldn't you look for something to say other than how many millions you had sold?

Steve Ballmer must be a very smart man to have held on to his position for so long while displaying such gross incompetence. Perhaps it's time for the board to find someone who's more worried about the long term success of the company than how to stay in power.
