Microsoft's June 2025 Windows Configuration Update (KB5062324) addresses a critical issue where the Windows Update scan could become unresponsive. Users experiencing this problem are advised to restart their systems to complete the update scan. For a permanent solution, installing the May non-security preview update (KB5058499) or later versions is recommended.
In addition to this fix, the update introduces several enhancements:
  • Live Captions Expansion: Support for live captions now includes languages such as Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), French (France and Canada), German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Spanish, Danish, English (Ireland and other dialects), and Korean.
  • Voice Access Improvements: The in-app voice access command help page has been redesigned, offering descriptions and examples for each command, along with a search bar for quick navigation.
  • Expanded Voice Access Support: Voice access commands now support additional English dialects, including those from the United Kingdom, India, New Zealand, Canada, and Australia.
These updates aim to enhance user accessibility and system functionality, reflecting Microsoft's commitment to continuous improvement.
