I was playing Minecraft Windows 10 edition like I have been for some time now, and then something weird started happening. One day, I opened the app and the toolbar along the bottom of the screen did not go away. This had never happened before. Whenever I clicked to do something in the game, I found out that my mouse was along the bottom of the screen, not in the center like it usually is. When I clicked, it paused the game. I then tried this in another first-person game downloaded from the Windows 10 store, and the same thing happened. I also tried it in Minecraft Java Edition, which was downloaded off of the web and not the Windows 10 Store, and the problem did not occur. All of the games were in full screen when this happened. It started about two months ago and has not been fixed by an update. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Solution
It seems like you're encountering a common issue where the Windows taskbar is not hiding in full-screen mode, leading to your mouse clicking on the taskbar instead of in the center of the screen in Windows 10 games. Here's how you can try to resolve this problem:

Method 1: Troubleshoot Taskbar Settings

  1. Auto-hide the Taskbar:
    • Right-click on an empty area of the taskbar and select "Taskbar settings."
    • Toggle on "Automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode" and "Automatically hide the taskbar in tablet mode."
    • Check if this resolves the issue.

      Method 2: Restart Windows Explorer

    []Restart Windows Explorer:
    • Open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc...

    ]Update Graphics Drivers:
    • Visit the website of your GPU manufacturer (NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel) and download the latest graphics drivers that are compatible with your GPU model and the operating system.
    • Install the drivers and restart your computer.

      Method 4: Check Mouse Settings

    []Mouse Sensitivity:
    • Go to Windows Settings > Devices > Mouse.
    • Adjust your pointer speed and check if there are any custom mouse settings that could be impacting your gameplay.

      Method 5: Running Windows Troubleshooter

    [
    ]Windows Troubleshooter:
    • Go to Windows Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
    • Under "Find and fix other problems," run the "Playing Audio" troubleshooter.

      Method 6: System Restore

  2. Perform a System Restore:
    • If the issue started after specific changes or updates, consider restoring your system to a point before the problem began.
    • Search for "Create a restore point" in the Windows search bar and follow the instructions. Try these steps one by one to see if any of them resolve the issue with your games on Windows 10. If none of the solutions work, feel free to provide more details or ask additional questions for further assistance.
