Not sure if this is the right Forum but here goes anyway.

I am trying to set up a third imap account in Outlook 2010. I have input all the correct settings, exactly as the exisiting settings apart from the email address. When I test the account I get two ticks and the test email is sent.

However when I come to click Next to close the account setup box I get an error message that says "The requested operation failed"

Anyone any ideas what I may be doing wrong? It's really frustrating when I already have two working imap accounts. Is there a limit to how many I can have?

Windows 7 Microsoft Office 2010
Thanks
Tony

I don't think there's a limit to the amount of IMAP email acounts you can have...eg Google and yahoo. There might be a limit with Outlook itself. Good question...worth doing some digging about the subject.
