Solution kemical Oct 14, 2016 Damn.... Try running the sfc scanner: Find command prompt, right click on it and click run as admin. Type: sfc /scannow Press enter and await results. Once you've run the above then delete the icon cache using the method found on this link under windows 7: Clear Icons Cache – Guide for Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10 See if that helps?
