Hello, I'm sorry my English is not so good, but i will try :

After sometimes a few minutes or after a couple of hours my desktop stops working, I can't select something, or i can't open a program with a shortcut.
Right click with my mouse doesn't work to.

I saw a few times that Outlook also can't send and receive at that moment.

When i reboot, everything works.

I have a brand new computer, with plenty of memory and no viruses and spyware.

Please can somebody help?

I have searched for a same topic, but i couldn't find it.

Greetz and much thanks,

Marco

Hello Marco, I understand the issue you're facing with your desktop freezing intermittently. This can be frustrating, but let's try to troubleshoot this issue: Here are some steps you can take to diagnose and potentially fix the problem: 1. Check for Windows Updates: Sometimes, Windows updates can also fix bugs that may be causing the freezing issue. 4. Run System File Checker: Use the System File Checker tool to scan for and repair corrupted system files that could be causing the freezing issue. To do this, open a command prompt as an administrator and run the command: sfc /scannow. 5. Check Event Viewer: Check the Event Viewer for any error messages or warnings that might give you a clue about what's causing the freezing. 6. Check for Background Processes: Check if there are any background processes consuming a lot of resources. You can use Task Manager to identify such processes. 7. Check Power Settings: Sometimes aggressive power-saving settings can cause the system to freeze. Adjust your power settings to see if that makes a difference. 8. Check for Malware: Even though you mentioned no viruses or spyware, it's good to run a full system scan with a reputable antivirus program to be sure. 9. Update Outlook: If Outlook is having trouble sending and receiving emails, ensure that it's updated to the latest version. Sometimes, updates can fix these kinds of issues. 10. Check Hardware: If the issue persists, it might be worth checking your hardware, such as the RAM modules or hard drive, for any potential issues. If after trying these steps the issue persists, it might be best to consult with a professional technician who can diagnose the problem more thoroughly. I hope these steps help you resolve the freezing issue on your desktop. Feel free to try them out and let me know if you need further assistance!
