Hi,
I have upgraded my OS from Windows XP to WIndows 7. Now, i am unable to connect my PC to my ADSL router ''Huawei Quidway WA1003A'' using USB cable.
Driver provided in CD with the router is not compatible with Windows 7. Can some body please help me with compatible drivers for WIndows 7?
Thanks,
Madan.

See if Link Removed due to 404 Error helps. It does not say Win7 but it might be good for Vista, which should work for you. Note you don't need special drivers for this device if using Ethernet - but you do then need a network adapter in your computer. Hopefully it has one.

1. Disable and clear existing drivers

2. Set the compatibility mode for your driver setup software (like setup.exe or similar) on Vista mode (without any service pack). Right mouse klick onto your setup program -> properties -> enable copmpatibility mode -> select Vista from the drop down menue.

3. Run the setup under Adminitrator authority

No Luck yet....

Hi Digerati/Stucky,
I used the drivers provided in the specirfied link as per Stucky's steps but that didn't solve my problem yet. Still i am unable to connect to my router using USB cable.
Is there any other way to solve my problem?

Thanks for looking into my problem Digerati and Stucky,
Madan.
