Hey Guys,

I am a newbee here and I am having an issue with my new Windows 7 Ultimate RTM upgrade. I have not found a problem with functionality but every time I boot up I receive an error message on my desktop that says: A program is missing that is requred to run Windows 7... .Net Framework 2.0 can be obtained as a free download from...

As far as I can tell I have .Net framework 3.5 already installed on the computer and I am not having any issues other than the 1 error message when my desktop first appears. Are there any ideas about how to "resolve" this error message? Is anyone else having this issue?

Best regards

PS: By the way if I try to download and install .NET framework 2.0 it fails with the error message: This is already contained in your operating system
