Windows 7 Network dies aftr sleep mode

When my computer goes to sleep the WiFi as well as the ethernet dies. I can see networks and can connect but cannot get 'internet access' from them.
Its probably just a driver issue. My laptop is HP Dv5 1006-tx
Ethernet device: Realtek RTL8168C(P)/8111C(P) Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0)
Wifi device: Intel(R) WiFi Link 5100 AGN
