Windows 10 Network issues

There are a lot of reasons you could be having an issue. The most common would be an incorrect configuration, a problem with the DHCP server (this is likely on your router) or a firewall configuration issue. I would reconfigure your system for DHCP on the adapter configuration. Download or copy this script to that machine Network Diagnostic Information and run it as administrator (right click, 'run as admin') and upload the log it likely will tell us what the issue is.

Open a Command prompt and type in ipconfig /release, then ipconfig /renew and finally ipconfig /all. Please post a message with the output to ipconfig /all. Here is a video about how to use Command prompt:

So looks like you're getting a APIPA address which means either your computer is having problems communicating to the DHCP server or a problem on the DHCP server. I would remove any reserved addresses you have on the router. If you have mac filtering I would disable that. Then on the device run the commands ipconfig /relesae then ipconfig /renew

If you have a firewall verify you're not blocking DHCP ports 67 and 68. You may also want to verify your router is serving DHCPv4. If that looks good try bouncing the router.

The last item would be to copy wireshark to the computer, install and do a capture filtered to dhcp and run ipconfig /renew save the capture and upload.

Reboot(bounce) the router. Depends on the firewall in use. If it's Windows you can look in control panel .

Both of them things didn't work. Thanks anyways though!

DHCP wasn't on the list so I couldn't do it.

It's not a capture filter. It's a display you have to do it after you start the capture

Your problem might be caused by one of these issues.

1) Your Physical Address is Missing. This means something is wrong with your wireless adapter.
Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall your wireless card driver?

2) As far as I can see your wireless card is standard 802.11ac.
Does your router support 802.11ac?

3) There are several Wireless LAN adapter Local Area Connection* on your computer. You should do some cleaning.
Again, have you tried to uninstall and reinstall your wireless card driver?

Livix07 not every device will show a physical address when they're not connected. 802.11ac cards always support at least 1 older protocol and these other adapters are virtual adapters often associated with a hyper visor.
