Hey Just wondering if anyone would be able to help me
I've been having some random shut downs with the following build which is only about a month and a half old the gtx 570 is only a few days old and since then the problems have gotten worse.
Code:
Intel Core i7 930 at stock with stock cooler
Corsair XSP 1600MHZ 6g ram
PNY gtx 570
Gigaybyte GA-X58-USB3
FSP Everest 1010W psu
1tb Samsung HD103SJ (system Drive)
750gb Seagate Baracuda (secondary storage disk)
LG HL-DT-ST DVDRam GSA-H66N DVD drive.
I had left the pc down to my local pc store and they thought my windows install was corrupted, they couldn't replicate the same random restarting problem( but they did c my install restarting when booting into windows ) and did a fresh install of windows 7 professional x64 onto my drive.
The pc worked fine for most of December but as of the 4th of Jan I had to reinstall windows and since then I've been getting alot of random restarts with event 41 in my event logs.
The problem seems to worsen when ever I try and play Crysis, the system usually shuts down at the intial game loading screen and If I can get into game it plays fine.
Could it be my DVD drive is corrupting the install and causing problems since its a burned DVD? It also makes a clicking noise when loading programs off UBCD as well as when I was installing Crysis?
Info about my copy of windows 7
Professional x64
Burned Disk acquired from my universitys MSDN:AA website.
I've included my reports as stated in the FAQ.
I'm really stumped on this I hope someone can make sense of my logs and reports.
Thanks ALOT.
