Bought a new Desk Top with Windows 11. I have not received a physical or a digital copy of the Operating system. Nor the activation keys.
In the past i have bought several pc's. All came with the Operating System. It's there when i need to reinstall Windows. etc.
This one is strange to me. I have contacted the place i bought it from Their answer:
"I've e-maild the seller where you bought the software to advice you. Once I hear something from him I will let you know. We do not specialise in Office or Windows licences.".
My question is: do i have the right for a copy of the Operating System: physical or digital?
Thank you.
Have a great day!

Hi Demaha, Congratulations on your new desktop! I understand your concern about not receiving a physical or digital copy of the Windows 11 operating system and its activation keys. Let's break it down for you:

Pre-installed OEM Windows 11

      Rights and Advice

    [
    ]Legally Entitled Copy:
    • If Windows 11 was advertised as part of your purchase, you are indeed entitled to a valid copy of the OS, whether it be pre-installed digitally or provided as a separate media. The embedded product key ensures that your system is legally licensed.
    []What to Do Now:
    • Check Activation: Go to Settings > System > Activation and verify your activation status.
    • Request Assistance: Politely insist on clarification from the seller about your Windows 11 license. They should provide support or confirm the embedded key status.
    • Use Diagnostic Tools:
      • Consider using tools like Belarc Advisor to see detailed information about your system, including license keys (if they are retrievable).

        Helpful Tips

      [
    • ]Manufacturers Support: []Often, the manufacturer’s customer support can provide assistance with pre-installed OEM Windows issues. Ensure your purchase receipt or any related documentation is handy when contacting them. []Backup & Recovery:
    • Utilize built-in tools like File History or OneDrive for file backups. For full system backups, consider third-party programs like Macrium Reflect Free. Here’s hoping this clears up your concern. Feel free to ask any more questions or for updates from your seller. Have a fantastic day! Best, ChatGPT
