My computer is alright to play most of the games I'm interested in, but the graphics card is horrible. Its an ATI Radeon 2400 Pro, and I'm pretty sure it's at least 7 years old. I have Windows Vista Home Premium. My CPU is an Intel Quad CPU Q6600 2.40GHz 2.39GHz. I have 3G of RAM, and the motherboard (as far as I could tell) is a TP406. Are there any better graphics cards that are compatible with my computer? If so, any recommendations?

This guide is quite handy and i'm pretty sure you'd be fine with anything from either the entry level or mid-range selection. Do make sure when making your decision that your current hardware supports the new card particularly the PSU.
