Solution
It seems like you're experiencing a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) issue when connecting your Turtle Beach headset to a USB 3.0 Etron port on your new PC. This could be due to various reasons, such as driver conflicts, hardware issues, or compatibility problems. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve this issue: 1. Update Drivers: - Make sure all your drivers are up to date, especially the USB and audio drivers. Visit the manufacturer's website for the latest drivers and install them. 2. USB Power Management: - Disable USB power management settings to ensure that the USB port is providing enough power to the headset. 3. USB Port Test: - Try connecting the headset to a different USB port (preferably a USB 2.0 port) to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the issue is specific to the USB 3.0 Etron port. 4. Check the Headset: - Test the Turtle Beach headset on another computer to see if it causes the same issue. This can help determine if the problem lies with the headset itself. 5. Check System Logs: - Check the Windows Event Viewer for more details on the BSOD error. It might provide additional information that can help pinpoint the cause of the crash. 6. BIOS Update: - Check if there is a BIOS update available for your motherboard. Updating the BIOS can sometimes resolve compatibility issues. 7. Contact Support: - If the issue persists after trying these steps, consider reaching out to Turtle Beach support or the manufacturer of your PC for further assistance. If you need further assistance or more detailed instructions on any of these steps, feel free to let me know!
