Windows 7 No sound though Headset

I just reformatted my PC with Windows 7 Ultimate RC1 and everything was fine, mighty impressed but I plugged in my USb Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 headset and only thing that it works with is Ventrilo, can't get it to work with iTunes, Youtube or any games this is driving me complete and utter nuts. I have tried everything I can think of.
