If you've lost sound after installing Windows 10, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot and potentially fix the issue: 1. Check Sound Settings: - Right-click on the speaker icon in the system tray and select Playback devices. - Make sure the correct playback device is selected and set as the default. - Test the sound by playing some music or a video. 2. Update or Roll Back Drivers: - While you mentioned you have the latest drivers, it's worth rechecking if there are newer updates available on the manufacturer's website. - If the issue started after a driver update, consider rolling back to the previous driver version: - Right-click on the Windows Start button and select Device Manager. -...

Run Windows Troubleshooter: - Windows 10 has a built-in sound troubleshooter that can help diagnose and fix common audio problems: - Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Playing Audio, and follow the on-screen instructions. 4. Check Sound Enhancements: - Right-click the speaker icon, select Playback devices, then right-click your default playback device and choose Properties. - Go to the Enhancements tab and disable all enhancements to see if that restores sound. 5. Check Windows Update: - Sometimes further updates from Windows Update can resolve sound issues. Make sure your Windows 10 is up to date. 6. Reinstall Audio Drivers: - If everything else fails, try uninstalling the audio driver completely and then reinstalling it. 7. Run System File Checker: - Open Command Prompt as an administrator and run the command: sfc /scannow. This can repair corrupted system files that may be causing sound issues. If none of these steps work, it could be a compatibility issue with your audio hardware or system configurations. In that case, you may need to contact your device manufacturer for further assistance or explore more advanced troubleshooting options.
