Hello

I bought Vista Home Basic today and as I put the CD in NOTHING at all happened. My computer says that there is no CD inserted in the PC. What's going on?

you can try going in to BIOS and setting your DVD as the first boot device, perhaps that's the problem?

This may be a stupid question, but since you didn't post your system stats... are you using a DVD drive or a CD drive? The disc is a DVD. Assuming you have a DVD drive, your disc may be defective. Try accessing it on another DVD drive to know for sure.

DVD of course lol. My DVD drive hasn't worked for a while now so yeah...It's a LITE-ON DVD drive and I've updated it and nothing.
