I think you may be misunderstanding the OP's complaint.
Try this
1. Open the Start Menu.
2. In the white line (Start Search) area, type regedit and press Enter.
3. If prompted, click on Continue in the UAC prompt.
4. In regedit, go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\TrayNotify
5. In the right pane, highlight both IconStreams and PastIconsStream.
6. Right click on these two and click on Delete.
7. Click on Yes for the confirmation prompt
8. Close regedit.
9. Stop and Restart explorer.exe in the Task Manager. (Or restart your computer)

Very good dave,
I had that in the back of my mind however I thought that particular keys as well as the MUI's, BagsMRU, etc were removed after working with the computer for a while.
I truly hope it works, spent a lot of time on this one

The icon for that program is not located in the registry, it's taken directly from the TWXPoxy.exe file.
I would uninstall your ZOC program, unless you need it for something else.
I'd download this freeware utility called RevoUnistaller.
It catches leftover files that the original uninstaller
