I would like to open folders with a single tap when in tablet mode, but with a double click when in normal mode. Is there any way to achieve this behaviour? When I change the settings in the control panel I can only make it work one way or other at all times.

Edit: Making a touch-screen tap work as a double-click (not two clicks!) in all modes would also work for me

Hi

Try this...

In File Explorer, click on View at the top of the page.
Select Options.

Select Click on Select Folder and Search Options.

On the General Tab click the "Single Click to open an item, point to select".

See if this give you what you want.

Sorry I misread your question.
And it won't let me delete this once I put finger to keyboard.
