I have a intel G33 chipset with a Q9300 processor in a Shuttle Glamour PC. It has both full size Firewire 400 and mini 4wire. I believe the Firewire chip is from Texas Instruments. It seems that anytime I unplug my firewire sound cards or if the sound card stops working, I get an instant BSOD or a BSOD on shutdown. As an aside every time I change my TV from component to HDMI with my computer on, I get an instant BSOD. This happens with my Nvidia Gforce 8600 GT or the built in HDMI. anyone experience similar issues?
