I recently had a pc built for me that came packaged with Vista and a code to get the upgrade disc to 7. Received it through the post and installed it.
However, following the install very few programs will run. A few, eg. calculator, Skype and Solitaire appear to run fine, but every other one i've tried doesn't seem to run, even standard programs like IE, or the themes section of control panel.
There are no signs as to why this would be the case... installation was fine, and the only two programs that were apparently uncompatible following the upgrade were my ATI Control Centre and a similar program... Surely their presence wouldn't stop 90% of my pc from working. Any ideas or solutions?
