I spend a lot of time recording (Guitar, Keyboard, etc) and have been a Die-Hard Mac User for years. My new dual-core Vista laptop was a disappointment recording wise (too many issues with latency and speed), most of the Windows recording guys told me to install Win XP as it's faster. I recently installed Win 7 on a seperate partition and was really elated to find that Win 7 works flawlessly with my software and my hardware too. I use an older Interface (Boss GS-10 USB Interface/Multi-effects system) that to me is a CADILLAC of recording interfaces and Win 7 makes it SING as good as my Mac does. I purchased Sonar Producer 8 2 weeks ago and have done a few recordings using my NEW Windows set-up. I am now looking at building a new Windows desktop system with a Quad-Core chip, etc. Microsoft has won me over and I SWORE I WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO WINDOWS AGAIN!
