Refreshing Media Player 12 (A solution)

Hay chaps,

Has anyone figured out how to rebuild Media Player 12 as in pressing F5 or was it F3?

I found this cool tip on how to do it:-
  1. Shutdown windows media player.
  2. Stop the media sharing service. Go to Start->Control Panel->All Control Panel Items->Administrative Tools->Services. Right-click on the “Windows Media Player Network Sharing Serviceâ€Â￾ and select Stop.
  3. Navigate to “c:\Users\â€Â￾your usernameâ€Â￾\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Media Player. Now delete the files named CurrentDatabase_***.wmdb and LocalMLS_*.wmdb.
  4. Start the media sharing service.
  5. Now start Windows Media Player and watch it build up your library again.
It works great :)

Oops - good point.

If you type in the path then after "c:\Users\”your username”\" type appdata (even though it is hidden) you still get access and the files below as they are not hidden.
