Hello all,

I have Samsung Laptop w/win7.
Though my USB ports seem working well when I verify "COM and LPT's sub line (communication port (COM4)) in Device Manager I see it is labelled by yellow exclamation mark.

In order to resolve it first, I tried to update its drivers and I received the respond of "the best driver is installed"
But it is still the same.

Next, I look at its properties and I see an error "code 34" and suggests manual adjustments.
Go further and check "resourses" tab and I see Input/Output range "03F8-03FF" has red error mark..
How can I manually adjust and How can I resolve such a problem?

Note: I already installed my laptop chipset drivers several time but it did not help at all..

Is there a device name? Chances are Windows installed a generic driver the device didn't like and you need to install the correct driver from the manufacturer. If you don't know what the device is
  • Right click the device in Device Manager > Details and select the Hardware ID.
  • Look at the top line the device manufacturer will be the 4-5 hex digit code before &DEV and the 4-5 hex code after is the device type
  • You can look up the device here Link Removed
