Hi
I have just installed windows 7 and I think it looks awsome!
The only problem is im having trouble with my screen/monitor.
I connect my pc through my nvidia 8600gt through a dvi to hdmi cable which plugs into the back of my sharp 32 inch tele.
For some reason, my desktops and programs are stretching out further than the screen and cutting bits off e.g. my task bar is only just visible as half of it is missing.
This happend to me when i was using xp and i went into the nvidia control panal and messed around with the resize option.
The only problem on 7 is, i cant get in 2 the control pannel:s.
Please help!!
Thanx Ross

- From there, you can adjust the resolution to better fit your monitor.
### Specific Steps to Resolve the Issue:
1. Desktop Sizing:
- Ensure that the resolution matches the native resolution of your Sharp 32-inch TV. The recommended resolution should prevent stretching and cut-off issues.
2. Driver Check:
- Verify if the Nvidia drivers are properly installed for your Nvidia 8600GT graphics card.
3. Nvidia Control Panel:
- If you can't access the Nvidia Control Panel directly, try right-clicking on the desktop and look for an Nvidia option in the menu that appears.
4. Update Nvidia Drivers:
- Visit the Nvidia website and download the latest drivers for your Nvidia 8600GT card. Installing updated drivers might resolve compatibility issues with Windows 7.
5. Physical Connections:
- Check the DVI to HDMI cable connection, ensuring it's securely plugged in on both ends.
After making these adjustments, you should be able to configure the screen resolution and resolve the issue you're facing with your display. If you encounter any further challenges, feel free to ask for more assistance!
