Hi all, this is my first post here :)
I have a problem installing Windows Vista
It is a driver problem
I've tried tons of searches on Google, Windows Live Search, Ask.com, etc.... But no luck

Here's the problem:

Close Windows installation and contact the device manufacturer for updated driver software for these devices:

SCSI and RAID controllers: ST3160023AS

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
This thing is really pissing me off, because I can't find the solution to it:mad:

PLEASE HELP

I have a Intel D975xdx Motheboard and had problems also, but not have it working.
1. if you have 2 raid controllers disalbe the second one in bios.
2. physically disconnect the drives from the 2 controller.
3. install vista ( it worked with a Intel raid sytsem)
4. enable the 2nd controller and connect the drive
5. isntall drivers for second controller if required.
Hope this helps
