Hi, Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong section. I was wondering if there was a program or software that could show previews of files. I want it so when I insert a memory stick or a memory unit it shows previews of some of files. Thanks, Have a nice day
Solution
I second kemical. Windows works in the way that you insert your stick, then you open it with a program that gives you previews - in fact Windows Explorer does that, with an option to play the video.
But automatically... I know none. You could check http://www.snapfiles.com/downloadfind.php?st=video+preview&action=s&ref=2&search=Find+it&lc=1
One handy program that might work is IrfanView, http://www.irfanview.com/ it's got lots of plugins.
Wish you the best.

Hi Danny,
do you mean that if you plug a memory stick into the pc and the memory stick contains files you want to see a preview of those files? If so, then you only have to click on the drive in question to view what's contained or do you mean something else?

Checkout the app called 'Portableapps.com' in this list. It's about 9 apps down the list and is possibly what your after although I'm unsure as to whether it's free or not:
