Windows 7 Slow Maximizing and Minimizing Windows.

Hey guys,

recently the problem started to occur. Basically, the windows maximize and minimize slowly sometimes. When i restart the laptop the problem usually gets fixed. But i cant just take this as a permanent solution to this problem. Is there anyway of fixing this?

- I recently updated my graphics cars as well : ATI Mobile Radeon 5600..
- Windows updates are automatic as well


Laptop Specs:

Sony Vaio E series
Operating: Win 7 Home Premium (64 Bit) , i3
RAM: 4 GB


this forums has helped me quite a lot in the past, am sure will help me this time as well

Unplug any external adapter (and devices), hard drive, mouse, printer, etc before you turn on your laptop. I think they are the main cause of this problem. Maybe they affect the bios or something like that. Don't bother contacting your manufacturer or microsoft as the best they do is tell you to reinstall your system or pay huge sums.
