Windows 7 sony driver support?

Ive recently installed windows 7, however i have gone to the SONY website and ive downloaded the vista 64 drivers for my laptop and they are not working. The main thing that i am wanting is my video card at higher resolutoin bc/ the max it is goig is like 1024X768 on my laptop when it typically goes 1920X1080. Sony does have any windows 7 drivers. What should i do? any help would be great. thank you. btw my laptop is sony vgn aw125j

If sony isn't providing 7 drivers and the vista/xp ones don't work, then you are out of luck till they do.

I would reinstall 7. and if possible, install the drivers using the Have Disk Method.
