In all previous Windows I have been able to move the games icons around to put the most frequently played games first. I haven't found a way to do this in Windows 7. You are obliged to sort in some logical order such as file name, date, size etc. Have I missed something?

In Windows 7, the icons on the desktop are typically sorted in a specific order based on the sorting option selected. By default, icons on the desktop are sorted by name. However, you can change the desktop icon arrangement and sorting options easily. Here's how you can customize the arrangement of icons on your desktop in Windows 7: 1. This allows you to freely move icons around and align them neatly on a grid. 3. Manually Reorder Icons: - With "Auto arrange icons" unchecked, you can freely move icons around on the desktop and place them in any order you prefer. 4. Create Desktop Folders: - You can create folders on the desktop and organize your game icons within those folders. This can help in keeping your desktop clean and your frequently played games easily accessible. By using these options, you should be able to manually organize and rearrange the game icons on your desktop according to your preference in Windows 7. If you still encounter issues or need further assistance, feel free to ask!
