Windows XP sounds sound funny

i am having problems with the sound because it sounds funny

It may be the result of a driver problem related to your sound card but without having any information regarding your installation it's difficult to guess.
Read the first post in this thread Link Removed and fill out your system specs. Any detailed information regarding your sound card and the driver version and date that you are currently using would be helpful as well.
