Windows 7 system memory not shown

under system where it shows the information about my computer the section that would display my ram is blank. I know that I have 1gb installed but it doesn't show. I would assume it is present because my system runs fine and probably wouldn't with out ram but does anyone know why it isn't being shown?

Ok so I ran dxdiag through the run menu and a I presumed my ram is present 1024mb of ram if memory servs just a smidgen under 1gb so all is well now my next prob figuring out what model vid card I have
