I noticed months ago that the tiny icons in the favorites button bar all went to stars. So I couldn't just recognize the icon, but had to read the text next to the star. A few days ago I stumbled upon a "fix", or odd occurrence, that has changed how I work within Edge. When I click the "Hub" icon (the three irregular horizontal bars on the right side of the menu area), and wait just a few moments... VOILA! ALL of my tiny favorites button bar icons magically arrive! Who knew? Perhaps Microsoft can fix this issue in the next upgrade.
