With 64-bit operating systems, you MUST use 64-bit hardware drivers. It is most likely it worked with XP because that was probably 32-bit XP.
Note on Link Removed when you expand the compressed .rar file, it contains both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Ensure you select the 64-bit version. I would uninstall the current drivers now, before trying the new ones.
That said, not all old, legacy hardware is supported by Windows 7 so don't get your hopes up too far. However, since Windows 7 (and Windows 8) can use "most" Vista drivers, and since your device claims to support Vista, hopefully they will work - fingers crossed.
