Windows 7 This disk structure is corrupted and unreadable

This is the message I get when I try to load a program, or do about anything on W7. I've checked the disk with Diskeeper from the Vista side, and also checked the disk with Computer managemant from the Vista side, all say it is fine. W7 install silky smooth, I let it format before load, it runs very fast, but so far no sound. I've been trying to load the MB drivers from EVGA (64 bit), but it just gives me the message above in the title.


System:
EVGA 680i motherboard
EVGA 8800 GTx Vidoe card
onboard HD sound ( doesn't work)
Intel CoreDou 3MHZ CPU
WD 7200 Sata hd 500 gig (2)
4 gig Corsair Extreme Ram

Same problem

Had same problem then did re-install. Noted that one time Windows Update did an update on the SATA drivers .. maybe this is problem.

Anyone else have SATA disc problems.

Have a test system with IDE drive and it seems very robust.
