Windows 7 Trouble Deleting Folders

I recently upgraded to Windows 7 yesterday, and for some reason some folders and not others will not delete.

When I try to delete some folders a notice appears that reads "You need permission to perform this action. You need permission from <The name of my user account, which is the administrator account> to make changes to this folder"

If anyone has any idea how I could fix this, it'd be greatly appreciated.

You can right-click on the folder , choose properties, click the Security tab, then the edit button. Now select your name in the list and give it full control

Personally, if you just upgraded yesterday, I would recommend you perform a :clean: install.
An upgrade leaves useless files on your system and can cause conflicts.

However, you will need to re-install all your 3rd party applications.

That worked great, thanks!

I was considering doing a clean install from the get go, but was curious to see how exactly the upgrade would play out. I'll more than likely give that a go now that I know how it works.
