Windows Vista Trouble Installing Windows Updates - Error says I'm not Admin even though I am

My Windows Vista (32) tells me that I have 1 critical Windows update to install. So I click "Install Updates," and an error message pops up:

"You need to provide administrator permission.
To complete this task, you need to log on as an administrator or ask an administrator to complete the task for you." [Close]

I've tried logging-off and logging-on again, and that doesn't help. I've tried restarting the computer, and that doesn't help. I'm the only user on this computer - and I double-checked to make sure I am the admin (and I am). Has anyone else had this issue, and if so, has anyone found a way around it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
